My Story
Assalamu Alaikum,
The rural areas of Zakiganj has an estimated population of 150,000 and is one of the poorest regions of the Sylhet Division. With no access to primary healthcare, they must travel miles to the nearest Upazila Clinic for basic medical needs and family planning services.
Working alongside our partners in Bangladesh, Salam Charity will provide a broad range of services from maternal healthcare to counselling to ensure that communities are empowered to grow and develop.

Professionally trained doctors and nurses will be available to o er free expert treatment and advice to anyone in the district, providing a lifeline for thousands of people living in abject poverty. The broad range of life saving services provided by
Salam Clinic includes:
- Maternal and neonatal healthcare
- Integrated management of childhood illness
- Reproductive health and family planning services
- Immunisation programme
- Providing nutrition education and free vitamins for children
- Early diagnosis of severe illness
- Referral to high level Upazila health complexes
